Tim Butler, Director of Compliance and Safety
As Director of Compliance & Safety, Tim is tasked with the execution and oversight of Suburban’s safety program, employee training, insurance claims, and fleet management. He also plays a key role in our Cleanroom Services Division by working with our operations teams to comply with and develop site-specific standard operating procedures (SOP’s) in this highly technical field. Tim uses his LEED accredited skills to ensure Suburban’s services are compliant with USGBC regulations.
Prior to this role, Tim was the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager and since joining Suburban in 2005, he has held various positions including field technician, call center support, and Safety Officer. Before joining Suburban, Tim spent 11 years serving in the U.S. Air Force, which included 3 combat deployments. He holds a BS in Occupational Safety and Health.
What he likes best about his job:
Seeing Suburban’s safety programs applied to the company’s operations and watching employees demonstrate the safety process and practices they’ve learned through their training.
Tim enjoys white water rafting, traveling and playing softball. He loves spending time with his dogs as well as his godchildren; Jenna, Nayana and Hunter.
